I have a colonoscopy at 3pm tomorrow, and during my light lunch before fasting today i accidentally ate some potato skin (around two small potatoes worth). i'm due to have my laxatives later, but should i cancel?! thank you?

Make sure you complete the entire prep as directed. Do not cancel, it is not likely that 2 small potatoes would interfere with the colonoscopy.

I would not cancel the procedure, but I would be certain that I take all of the preparation as instructed. If it does not appear to be clear by the time the preparation is completed, then contact your doctor. Good luck with the colonoscopy.
