My 3 month old has been throwing up quite a bit when i burp her shes only drinking 4 oz of formula lately ive been noticing mucas in her throw up should i be concerned? she doesnt have a fever or any signs of discomfort?

Just observe her for now unless other symptom develops. You can either reduce the feeding volume or extend the time between the feeding in the next 24 hours which may alleviate her stomach symptom. Good luck!

It is not clear from this description what is causing your baby’s feeling issues, but in general, if a newborn is not feeding properly, it is a good idea to check in with the pediatrician who is taking care of the newborn.

There are many possible causes, including reflux. If the vomiting continues, please see your Pediatrician. Watch for signs of blood, fever and diarrhea. Continue the formula, but discuss an elemental formula and milk allergy testing. Feed at an angle, don't bottle prop and offer slightly less per feeding. Burp mid and end of feeding.
