There may be nothing you can do to get your period to start within the next 2 days. It is not uncommon to miss a period-this can happen due to a cycle without ovulation. If your pregnancy test is accurate and you are not pregnant, your period will resume by next month. If you don’t get a period by next month, see your doctor to find out what the problem is. Good luck!

Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.
