A member asked:

Does having a early growth spurt mean i will stop growing taller early?

I don't think you can make any predictions. Your height is 80% genetically determined and usually the height reached will be an average of your 2 parents.

Expected final height in males is the average of both parents plus 2.5 inches +/-. People will stop growing taller when their growth centers close. If your early growth spurt accelerates the closure of your growth centers, you will finish sooner. An x-ray of your wrist/hand can be assessed for growth potential.
