If you’re having no pain or other symptoms, then you can get checked out at your already scheduled appointment. If you have any lower abdominal pelvic symptoms, however, you should get checked out sooner. In the meantime, you should use condoms or another source of birth control until you are sure that the IUD is in place properly. Good luck.
