Dizziness, especially lightheadedness, is often caused by a drop in blood pressure on going from sitting to standing. It could also be caused by motions affecting the inner ear & this causes vertigo. A physician could differentiate between the two. At the same time I recommend getting checked for anemia & iron deficiency. You may be referred to an ENT specialist if it's positional vertigo.

It would be prudent to check postural blood pressures, but also consider benign postural vertigo secondary to inner ear problems. Dizziness brought on secondary to arm elevation might suggest subclavian steal syndrome, a problem with circulation in the posterior brain distribution. A thorough clinical exam should sort out these considerations.
