Nodule not related to pain likely. Sounds like a tricky situation. Trust u r seeing good specialists. Medical school is often good place for specialists.

You probably have lifelong wear and tear, causing cervical spondylosis and likely degenerative disc disease. From your description, you would likely highly benefit from physical therapy and an eventual independent exercise program.
