This could be any number of things, including an ulcer. The only way to know is to see a GI doctor to find out. You may need an upper endoscopy where they look into your stomach and first part of the intestine with a scope to see if there is an ulcer present. There are good medicines to treat if an ulcer is present. So, see a GI doctor for diagnosis and treatment. Good luck!

There are multiple potential causes of your symptoms, including Gerd, ulcers, pancreatic problems, and non-digestive tract disorders, such as a problem with a heart or lungs. If your symptoms have been persistent, you should see your primary care doctor for your initial evaluation. Good luck.
