I had a complete knee replacement and a few days later a very itchy rash appeared all around incision site, not responsive to prednisone or benedryl. calamine lotion calms it down a bit . my skin feels burned to the touch. and very itchy?

If there is no exudate, swelling or tenderness surgical wound infection is less likely. You can try lidocaine patch or ointment (OTC) for those symptoms. See your surgeon if wound infection is suspected. Take care!
