Are 2 best options for betadine reaction hydrocortizone & prednisone? am 5 days post op for knee arthroscope and have ankle to mid thigh itchy rash

See below: Rash on the side of the operation that appears after 3-5 days, does not expand in regard to affected area and is primarily itchy is consistent with contact allergy. Have you experienced this before with betadine? Notify your orthopedist as a short prednisone course may be warranted.
