If your eyelid twitching is only temporary then there is no problem. However, if it persists for more than a couple weeks it would be reasonable to see an opthalmologist. The exact cause is typically unknown but the most common cause is stress and fatigue. So please take time to relax and get enough sleep.

Most likely the "twitching" is secondary to orbital myokymia, a benign self-limited annoying condition. It is usually associated with fatigue, eyestrain, stress, and poor sleep. An ophthalmologist can confirm and provide guidance.
