You can try lidocaine cream 4 or 5% OTC for itching. However, if there is abnormal discharge along with itching, the cause needs to be defined because treatment will be different. Lidocaine cream only relieves the itching, not the disease.

The most common cause of vaginal and often anal itching is yeast infection, but there are others, such as allergy or irritation from residual detergent in underwear, vaginal perfumes, etc. Yeast is especially likely if there is redness and perhaps thick white discharge. If so, try an OTC yeast product -- look for active ingredient ending in "azole". See a doctor of symptoms continue afterward.
