Acetaminophen is thought to be safe for daily use if less than 4 g per day is taken (although some experts will say no more than 3 g per day). Be careful that none of your over-the-counter medicines also contain Acetaminophen. Also it’s important not to use alcohol when taking it. Within those constraints, it is OK to use it until your foot is healed.

Agree with Dr. Siebert. Try to keep your intake to less than 3.0 g in one day. You may take it as long as needed. No alcohol at all.
