I know there are many strains of norovirus but what strain is predominately going around in ny/nj area? can you catch all 29 strains in a short period of time? bc my kids have brought it home twice in a month, im paranoid of getting it a third time?

There are no vaccines for norovirus unfortunately. No one knows for certain how long your immunity is after having a norovirus infection and as such, you may have had the same strain of norovirus on each infection. Best advice is to practice good hand hygiene and teach to your children too, wash fruits and vegetables well, disinfect surfaces always and clean laundry with hot water and bleach.
