Ideally, a BP of 125-130/75-80 range would provide greater protection against stroke, myocardial infarction and cardiac arrhythmias. It is advisable to check one's BP sitting and standing to enable a decision concerning one's fluid and salt status (and to prevent the BP from falling too low with standing). This should be monitored by reporting the data to one's physician.

BP needs to better controlled. Ideal BP is 120/80. Consult your PCP who may increase dose of lisinopril or introduce another new anti hypertensive medication in a small dose.
