I'm 52 female that haven't had a period since march 1 2014 until dec 31 2014. ive been bleeding 11 days very heavy passing big blood clots. normal?

Possibilities : Your period is heavy because tissue built up over the past 9 months. The bigger question is why you didn't have a period for 9 months. May be perimenopause, or you may have a thyroid issue. It would be good to get some labs done, and consider an ultrasound to check the status of your uterine lining, and your ovaries. I see it all the time, usually not serious but deserves to be checked out.
