A member asked:

Can i get a head mri with stainless steel dental posts? my dentist says it's fine, but i do not feel confident at all?

Your Dentist is absolutely correct. Stainless steel is not affected by magnets. Have your dental posts ever set off the magnetometer at an airport? Noting to worry about.

No worries, whatever dental prosthetics you're concerned about, none will contain magnetic metals that could be affected by the MRI.
