Started the pill a week after my period and been on it 2wks, now period is 4days late, any ideas plz?

The birth contol : Pill is taking over function of the ovaries. The normal fluctuation of hormones, estrogen which grows the lining then ovulation, then Progesterone which organizes and limits it's growth, followed by the hormone producing follicle running out of hormene, then menses, has been replaced by a constant supply of both hormones. Time needed for the uterus to adjust but should be much better w/in 3 mos.
