May be: If ovulating may be possible , if 49 yr old wants to get pregnant, have to see fertility specialist, after general health evaluation , if willing to take all the risks involved including fetal malformations like down's syndrome etc speak to your gynecologist first.

May be difficult.: A third day FSH (third day of your cycle) would be an accurate predictor of the ability to conceive and the need for assisted reproduction. Not impossible, but more difficult if the FSH is elevated.
