I tested positive for chlamydia in my throat, but negative in my genitals. is it possible could be false positive? i have oral and vaginal sex. why only throat? i had symptoms of sore thoat, do symptoms come close to exposure?

The chlamydia tests rarely give false positive results. However, chlamydia of the throat is rare, especially in heterosexual men and in women; and it's even more rare to have throat but not genital infection. Unfortunately, there is no way to know for sure. That's why you and your partner need treatment, to be on the safe side -- as advised in reply to your other two questions.
