Artemether/Lumefantrine slightly increase your liver's ability to metabolize certain drugs, such as Levonorgestrel (generic Postinor-2). Therefore, there is a slight chance that these drugs may reduce the efficacy of Levonorgestrel. When used as emergency contraception, recommendations outside the US suggest doubling the dose of Levonorgestrel to 3 mg in women in such cases.
