No: The level of ANA positivity does not usually correlate with disease activity.

ANA: ANA are not used to follow disease activity with lupus or any other autoimmune disease. In lupus, we will follow dsdna and complement levels to assess disease activity in lupus. Is there any chance that your doctor meant a dsdna instead of an ana.
