A member asked:

Can i marry my mother's mother's brothers son...is there any genetical issues in it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Each of us can carry an estimated 4 abnormal recessive genes that may cause a genetic disorder, some deadly, if paired with another with any of those 4. The closer the relation the more the risk. Siblings have the most risk, first cousins the next and each degree of separation reduces the risk. In this pairing there is genetic risk, not as much as with siblings, but still there.
