After smoking weed i started having heart palpitations. it was horrible. they lasted for weeks. i haven't smoked since then and i also had a break from drinking, and they finally went away. but i still feel them for days sometimes after drinking. why?

Your palpitation is likely a symptom of cardiac arrhythmia. That's the way your heart reacts to offending substances. A combination of marijuana and alcohol is the initial trigger of the cardiac arrhythmia but after that alcohol by itself becomes the lone offender. The definite and effective treatment is alcohol abstinence.
