Last year i had very bad cellulitus on my left ankle and was hospitalized for three and a half weeks. i use topographic cream and moisturiser,how can i do more to prevent a recurrent episode happening? i am getting stinging pains, is this normal?

Be sure to cover your feet/ankles except when bathing. Cellulitis can occur from even microscopic skin openings where bacteria can get in. Keeping your feet/ankles clean and moisturized to prevent dry skin cracking will help and then avoiding skin exposure will also help. Unfortunately, recurrence can still happen but these measures will help in prevention. Not sure what the stinging pain is from.
