I take 100mg gabapentin at bedtime to help me sleep and for my heds related pain.. lately ive been waking up with a very heavyfeeling. as if im just deadweight and it takes me a bit to get out of bed. could that be the gabapentin is still active?

Yes, it is likely a side effect of gabapentin even the dose is quite low if your kidney function is normal. You can prove it by stopping its use.

Since gabapentin will be effective in most folks for at least 8 hrs., most likely you are experiencing side effects. This might be mitigated if you take it a few hours earlier in the evening.
