The stomach is seen in an abdominal CT scan. If there was a significant mass it would be seen but smaller masses may not be seen. Inflammation of the stomach lining may not be seen either. An upper endoscopy by a GI doctor would visualize the stomach lining and detect smaller masses/inflammation. So, see a GI doctor to address these concerns. Good luck!

Yes, the CAT scan does observe the stomach. He can see masses, inflammation, sometimes ulcers, and usually anything else that is wrong with the stomach. However, endoscopy gives a better look at most of these things. Good luck.
