If you have an irregular heart rhythm, it's wise to document its presence& determine the nature & extent of the irregularity. Unless a resting EKG captures the regularity, the best way to do it is wearing an outpatient cardiac monitor for 24-48 hours or more & noting times when you experience any palpitations. When you're dealing with issues like blood pressure & heart rhythms, accuracy is needed
