Your surgeon and anesthesiologist should be notified prior to surgery about your use, frequency and duration of use. It will be at their discretion as to whether or not to proceed with surgery. DO NOT HIDE THIS INFORMATION FROM THEM, please. They must be aware of your drug usage. You put yourself and them at risk by not disclosing this information prior to surgery.
