We use the adjective acute, subacute and chronic to describe how fast or slow the symptoms and signs appear when the subdural hematoma happens after a head injury. That adjective term is not used to indicate the evolution of the subdural hematoma, i.e. subacute subdural hematoma does not evolve into a chronic subdural hematoma. I hope you are satisfied with this explanation.
