A member asked:

How long will you have to stay in the hospital with a chronic subdural hematoma?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends : Depends on symptoms and age of person. Older with more weakness/confusion. If surgically drained on somebody doing well, they may spend anywhere from 1-7 days in the hospital. If they need more assistance, getting around/safety around house etc. Would take more time. Good question to ask the team helping you.
