Is there are allergic symptoms?i have fever today (oral temp 100.5f) after ate amox and benzonatate both two times. the clinician prescribed them for diagnosis of cold virus, without test. i lost sleep almost one night and got dizzy after eating them?

Antibiotics do not help viral infections but are used for bacterial infections of the sinuses, bronchial tubes & lungs. I don't think you had an allergic reaction to the amoxicillin. You may have reacted to the benzonatate. In view of the fever, I recommend continuing the amox & notifying your MD of the fever. Take Tylenol, drink fluids. He/she will give you instructions.
