Have had post coidal spotting the last three times i've had sex. each time it has been less and just a few drops on the toilet paper. what are the chances this is cervical cancer? or something more benign?

There are several possible causes for above symptoms and at age 39 years cervical cancer seems to be unlikely. That said, this is what Gynecologists do. Examine, Diagnose and Treat these kind of problems. Pap Smears are a fairly common method of diagnosing cervical cancer and the Gynecologist will do that too.
