Numerous reasons: This burning could be due to one or more of several different conditions including but not limited to, angina, reactive airway disease/asthma/copd, or something less serious like deconditioning. It is important to follow up with your primary doctor to rule out a serious cardiac or pulmonary condition before you work out again.
