Hsv1is herpes simplex transmitted mainly by oral to oral contact and causes oral herpes infections ,often acquired during childhood . It can also cause genital herpes by oral genital contact . Hsv 2 is mainly sexually transmitted and causes genital herpes,often with recurrence and increases the risk of hiv . It is transmitted through genital ,skin and anal contact during sex .
