These symptoms are consistent with endometritis (infection in your uterus) or vaginal infection. Make sure there isn't a foreign body like a forgotten tampon. If not, the antibiotics you doctor prescribed are the right ones to clear it up. STDs also could be the cause, but you would have needed to be tested for them before starting treatment (except gonorrhea; you can be tested now if at risk).
