A member asked:

How many years does does it take for skin cells on the face to fully regenerate or renew itself?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Skin regeneration is a constant renewal of cells. The estimated time the epidermis turns over is an on average about 40-56 days. As you get older the process slows down 30-50 % by the age of 80 . At your age it is estimated that 28 days is the time for regeneration.
