On yaz 2 years, take continuously with break every 3 months. having breakthrough bleeding/cramping the last 2 weeks on active pills. 2 negative hcg tests 10 days apart. unsure why this is happening? how to resolve?

The most common reason for "breakthrough bleeding" while on oral bcp's is lack of strict punctuality with the low dose "active" pills. The active pill should be taken within the same hour as the previous day's active pill. Suggest stopping the active pills, waiting seven days, and starting a new pack. See your GYN physician for guidance. Pregnancy is unlikely.
