A member asked:

Hello. im 27/ male. i have just done an xray of the sinuses. the report says: hypertrophied inferior nasal turbinates with slightly deviated nasal septum to the right side. i do not quite understand the implications of this statement?

The wording says the inside shelfs of the nose are thicker than average and the midline bone bows to one side. What if anything this means in your case must be interpreted by the doc managing your problems. The findings are not that unusual nor are they worrisome. Discuss this with your doc.
