What is the probable cause of a narrowing bile duct if there is no indication of gall stones in ultrasound. ca 19-9 negative as well as alp. elevated bilirubin for 6 months accompanied by several debilitating symptoms?

gall stones do not cause narrowing of the bile duct. Inflammation and stone in bile duct other causes do.
