I have a sharp pain when i swallow that radiates to my ears i did strap throat test and it was negative, could this be an ear infection or a cold or flu it feels like glass when i swallow was given antibiotics to take but not sure if its bacterial?

It is difficult to say it is not bacterial because the 'Strept' Screen was negative, I mean there could be false negative test and there are also other bacteria that could cause throat infections. You have not given enough information however if you do not have running nose it probably is not cold or flu. It may even be non infectious situation of pharyngeal ulceration. Try gargling and fluid diet
