A member asked:

Has anyone ever heard of nerve compression causing tingling goosebump patches that disappear after a few seconds? i get them on my legs and have been diagnosed with femoral nerve entrapment by a pt. but they also seem skin related? (normal mris/ecg?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You did not say MRI of which area. I would suggest losing weight if you are overweight and to avoid wearing tight things around the area of the entrapment. The PT may be able to recommend exercises you could do that may be helpful. Lateral cutaneous nerve is another example of entrapment that you could Google that may help you understand better.
