Raised ggt level to 60. no alcohol or drug use. ast alp and cholesterol all bloodwork normal otherwise. 5 weeks ago had gallbladder out. what could be the cause for raised ggt?

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, the recent surgery could explain it. You may wish to retest in 3-4 months. Wish you good health!
