Unexplained elevated liver enzymes (ALT. AST, GGT) exhausted every possible cause. Doctor says I must take statin. Started one month ago. Enzymes increases slightly. ALT now at 87. Baseline was 70. Should statin be stopped ? GI says no and cardio -no?
Though ALP is within normal range, it is elevating, with GGT, AST and ALT elevated to 69 U/L, 69U/L and 113 U/L. WHat could this mean?
My liver enzymes were ast 202, alt 368, alp 118, ggt 279. Was tested for all heps, lyme, etc. I stopped taking paracetamol which I had bn taking for many years. 5 weeks later my bloods have rerurned to normal. Could I have done serious damage? Thank?
Hi, my liver test showed alp-69, ggt-93, s-alt(gpt)-107, s-ast(got)-58. Rest all reading normal incl. Albumin-41 & bilirubin total 6. Pl. Advise. Thanx?
Alkaline Phosp 165; Bilirubin 0.4;AST 19; ALT 22; GGT 31; Total Protein 7.1; Albumin 4.4; Globulin 2.7 and other results are normal. High ALP serious.
