A member asked:

What is an anterior or posterior resin composite filing? are there any before/after photos?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

These are fillings used for aesthetic results, especially in the front of your mouth where you want the filing to look as close as the color of your teeth. They have been developed so they are stronger and less sensitive. The posterior composites are for those who don't want a amalgam filling because of mercury, or any silver to show. The composites in the posterior are not as strong.
