Is 2 ounces of formula too much for a 10 day old?

Properly spaced an infant can fit 1/2 their poundage as ounces per feed. ie.4 oz for an 8 lb baby. Don't let them fall asleep feeding as it sets up the infant to want feeds to get back to sleep. Keep the kid awake for a while and entertain them before they drift off. This can spread out feedings and make better use of your time.
