I have a blood shot eye and a headache on the same side, the blood shot eye comes and goes its not always there and so does the headache , my doctor says i need to see a optician, they refuse to see me in person?

Forget the optician and be evaluated by an ophthalmologist even if you have to go to the emergency room of and eye & ear clinic affiliated with a hospital near you. A very infrequent subconjunctival hemorrhage isn't usually a cause for concern but recurrent ones are especially with accompanying headaches. Any appropriate testing will be carried out in order to make a diagnosis & advise you.
