A member asked:

Is it normal for my 9 day old to wake up every 2 hours and eat 1.5 ounces through the night?

Babies don't eat in the womb, so you establish their feeding pattern. A common one would be every 3 hours at first. If you let them breast or bottle feed to get them to sleep, they may require that activity to get back to sleep as they cycle. Try gradually spacing the feedings out, finish and do a separate activity before they sleep. Read/sing or whatever but don't let feeding be the last thing.
