A member asked:

If hpv dna can be detected in blood, how come hpv can't be transmitted via blood? sorry if this is a stupid question?

It is not a stupid question. There is some controversy now about whether HPV can be transmitted through blood. Previously it was thought not to. Research is ongoing.
