Indicates you have high-risk HPV 16 but has not yet caused pre-cancerous cell changes which can take years to occur. Your immune system may fight off HPV and never get cell changes. Or the HPV can persist and cause cell changes in the future. Usually, repeat Pap and HPV in 1 year.
